It is easy to get caught up in the moment, but it is important to take a step back and assess our life as a whole. One way to do this is by using the 1-10 scale to evaluate the quality of our experiences.
Think about all of your life’s experiences on a numerical scale ranging between 1-10.
10 being the best day of your life and 1 being the worst day of your life.

If you need a refresher, operant conditioning is based on reinforcement. Either adding or removing something to either increase or decrease a behavior.

Is the cup half-full or half-empty? The optimist sees the cup as half-full, the pessimist sees it as half-empty. It’s a question of attitudes – do you see the good or the bad in situations? Though this might be a long-lived debate, when looking at the glass, I don’t see it as a question. I see it only as reality. What are we actually seeing? What is there, and what isn’t? What is inside my control and what is outside of it?
